Jokia Williams is a professional Wellness coach in the Central Texas region. As a professional Wellness coach, Jokia has a diverse background which includes being a musician, national independent recording artist, entrepreneur, wife, and mother balancing multiple responsibilities.
Jokia specializes in assisting clients to learn how to balance. Jokia’s experience has enabled her to help clients with the development of sustainable strategies to bring emotional health and wellness and the achievement of goals.
Prior to becoming a Wellness coach, Jokia served as a chaplain for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Central Texas. There she was both mentor and coach to adolescent girls for two years. Jokia also served as a ministry worship team leader for a local church in Belton, TX as well as a Youth Sunday School teacher for 3 years.
Jokia is a former combat Army veteran who served the U.S. Army for eight years which included deployment to Iraq. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University Central Texas. She received her Masters in Counseling Degree from Letourneau University and music therapy training through GSUS Music Therapy Services and Center. Jokia’s qualifications have aided her in working with diverse populations including professionals, adolescents, and physicians. Jokia also has experience working with marriage and group therapy as well as those dealing with Bipolar Personality Disorder, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, fatigue, trauma, identity and development issues.
Jokia has the tools to both support and also help create a meaningful change in her client’s lives. She and her husband are the founders of the GodSent clothing brand. They have been married for ten years and have two beautiful children, Felicia and Jasmine.
