
Hawa N’Gaojia is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and U.S. Army veteran originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa. Fluent in both English and Krio, she brings a culturally grounded and inclusive perspective to her work, allowing her to connect authentically with clients from diverse backgrounds and also gender affirming.
Hawa’s clinical experience includes supporting individuals with substance use disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches.
As both a veteran and mental health professional, Hawa has a strong passion for helping others build resilience, heal from trauma, and navigate life’s transitions with strength and self-compassion. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change and restore balance in their lives.
Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University Central Texas.
She received her Masters in Counseling Degree from Letourneau University and music therapy training through GSUS Music Therapy Services and Center.
