Alton McCallum
Alton McCallum
Founder, LPC-Supervisor, Ed.D
As a Veteran of the army—who suffered with PTSD after being injured in war—Alton has both the experience and the training to work extensively with active Military members, Veterans, Military families, First Responders, and organizations that are built around providing support to those individuals who have entered, or daily enter, high-stress environments. His years of counseling those in these communities has included instituting processes of rehabilitation for those adjusting to life post-service and for the families of service personnel going through significant periods of adjustment. Alton recently completed a Doctorate of Education (EdD) from Johns Hopkins University where his doctoral work centered on Emergency Response Well-Being: Clinical Supervision of Spiritually-Integrated Wellness. During that doctoral program in Mind, Brain, and Teaching, he created a new clinical supervision model for individuals with high-stress occupations. Alton received his bachelor’s of science degree in Operations Research and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He, therefore, has both the academic training and professional experience to help organizations and businesses optimize operations through strengthening the well-being and potential of their personnel.


Lindi S. Lishebo-McCallum

DPT, M.S. integrative Wellness Coach
Lindi S. Lishebo-McCallum is a Certified Life Coach. She is an integrative coach who has extensive education in human biology, bio-technology and physical therapy. Her knowledge of the human body allows her to provide individualistic coaching plans and interventions that healthily integrate the brain, body, and will. Lindi is trained in contemplative prayer, meditation and body work to help clients improve both personal wellness and professional outcomes.Lindi hails from the Republic of Zambia. She graduated from Morgan State University with a degree in Biology and then obtained her Master’s of Science degree in Bio-Technology from Johns Hopkins University. She then completed her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.She has been married to Alton for over 19 years and they have four children.Dr. Lindi is currently taking new clients at the Georgetown location!

Caron Palmer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist. Caron is skilled at approaching therapy from an integrative lens utilizing attachment theory, the Gottman model, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has expertise working with individuals, couples, Military, Veterans, First Responders and their families who have experienced complex trauma.As a Certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training,Caron trains current and future clinicians in EMDR, Sand Tray and EFT at Insight Counseling & Training Center and at the Chaplain’s Family Life Training Center at Ft. Cavazos.Caron has been married for 43 years, has 4 grown children and is the proud grandparent of 6 grandchildren - 5 boys and 1 girl.Insurances accepted: Tricare, BCBS, Scott and White, Superior


Dr. Andrey Shalomov
Dr. Andrey Shalomov
Dr. Andrey Shalomov entered the field of psychiatry to help improve the mental health of adults and children in Killeen and other central Texas communities. He is board-certified in both General (Adult) Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and his fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.


Hailey Peek
Hailey Peek
Hailey Peek is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who provides therapy and social work services at Insight, and develops outreach and learning opportunities for clients, community members, and professionals. She has extensive experience working with adults who are entering new seasons of life, providing support through caregiving, adjusting to aging, and reconciling past experiences. Hailey helps clients find peace, direction, and confidence through goal setting, skill development, and new ways of thinking. In addition to a Master of Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington, Hailey holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University and Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from York College of Pennsylvania. She is also the Founder and Director of the Dementia Enrichment Center and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).

Aldo Ortiz is a Bilingual (English-Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor working with fathers, teens, couples, families, and senior clients. Aldo is EMDR-trained and his practice helps clients address and overcome the challenges of anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships, careers, depression, and trauma. His work is influenced by expertise gained from work as an educator, school counselor, non-profit counselor and program director. Aldo is passionate about helping educators incorporate mental health skills into their lives and the lives of their students. He is also passionate about helping fathers develop as parents and leaders in their communities through both individual counseling and group work.Aldo desires to help his clients reach their full potential by approaching his clients’ unique cultural circumstances and professional goals from a point of curiosity and neutrality.Insurances accepted: Tricare, BCBS, Scott and White Health Plan, Superior.

Cassandra Core-Holt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate. In her dynamic practice, she uses Solution Focused interventions, Gottman techniques and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). She has worked extensively with couples and has a special interest in working with military and veteran couples. With her 32 years of experience as a military spouse, she has keen insight into the difficulties and triumphs associated with military life. Cassandra approaches her work with practicality gained through her education, training and life experience. In addition to her work with couples, Cassandra has a passion for working with the homeless community and she partners with several local organizations to address the needs of the local community.Cassandra is supervised by Caron Palmer, LMFT-Supervisor.

She works with veterans, women, and teen girls ages 15+. Drawing on her background in the military and law enforcement, She brings specialized experience in crisis and trauma services to her work.She offers a space where you can heal freely, without fear of judgment. In our work together, we’ll focus on the issues that matter most to you, developing personalized solutions that honor your individual needs. Her approach focuses on making sure you feel heard and empowered to make your own decisions.She uses a variety of strategies, including an integrative approach, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed practices, always with an awareness of culture and individuality. She is here to support you on your journey — one conversation at a time.She is supervised by Alton McCallum Jr., LPC Supervisor, Ed.D.


Kristin Twardowski

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Kristin provides counseling services to both children and adults navigating challenges such as grief, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and the emotional impact of cancer diagnoses and treatment. Kristin also specializes in helping children develop emotional regulation and school readiness skills.Kristin's therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered care and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. Prior to becoming a counselor, Kristin spent four years as a teacher, which gives her a unique perspective when working with children and their families.Having personal and family experience with cancer has deepened Kristin's empathy and understanding of how illness affects the whole family. Kristin brings warmth, openness, and a deep respect for each person’s story to every session.Whether you're facing a life transition, supporting a child through challenges, or seeking support for your own emotional health, Kristin is here to walk alongside you with compassion and care.

Ashley Masey is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate. She graduated from Tarleton State University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.Ashley specializes in child and adolescent counseling, with specific training in Child Centered Play Therapy techniques.Ashley is under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Blanco, LPC-S, RPT-S.

Michael Davis
Michael Davis
Michael Davis is a Licensed Chaplain and a certified Mental Health Coach with a Masters in Clinical Pastoral Counseling. Michael has extensive experience providing coaching and chaplain services to teens, adults, families and couples in the midst of crisis and during times of critical, developmental growth. He is passionate about helping adolescents overcome behavioral struggles and difficult life transitions.Michael approaches his work holistically—integrating mindfulness, family-systems frameworks, and cognitive behavioral and trauma informed techniques into his coaching program. Michael provides tools and techniques to help his clients combat anxiety, depression, trauma-related diagnoses, and the exigencies of life.Michael provides Chaplain Care to the clinical providers at Insight Counseling & Training Center and to the local community.Michael retired from the United States Army after serving for 24 years. He is married with three children and grandchildren.

Aliahya Aryiku
Aliahya is currently pursuing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, building on her Bachelor of Science in Sociology, where her passion for mental health first began. As a military veteran, she brings a deep sense of discipline, resilience, and empathy to her work with clients. Her professional background includes supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises as well as those navigating developmental disorders and challenges. In her clinical training, she aims to integrate evidence-based approaches to foster stronger relationships, improve emotional regulation, and promote lasting change. Aliahya's goal is to provide a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where individuals, couples, and families can work toward healing, understanding, and connection.

Anita is a Master's student in Marriage and Family Therapy with over a decade of experience working with children and adolescents. Prior to her graduate studies, she held various roles within the Department of Family and Protective Services, where she developed a strong passion for child welfare, family support, and promoting healing through collaborative care. Her work focused on ensuring child safety, addressing behavioral concerns, and supporting families in crisis through community partnerships and resource coordination.Anita brings a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to her work, drawing from her extensive experience with diverse populations. She is especially skilled in helping children who have experienced abuse or neglect and guiding families through conflict. As she continues her training, Anita remains committed to fostering resilience in young people and strengthening family dynamics through open communication, empathy, and support.
